Well, the inevitable has finally happened. Paris Hilton’s much hyped movie ‘The Hottie or the Nottie’ has received a thumbs-down at the Hollywood box office and she has been labeled as a down-market actress by critics. It was expected by everyone and I doubt whether any sane person had ever anticipated it to be a blockbuster. Even though the millionaire heiress herself had left no stone unturned for hogging the media limelight with her usual bizarre antics just before its release, those publicity stunts could not save her movie from the predictable doom. As per reports,
The movie was being screened in 111 screens and managed to sell just $76 in ticket sales per location. That means there were just 10 people per theatre for the movie. The movie is expected to sell a mere $23,000 during the three-day weekend.
It seems Paris Hilton is too busy with her perfume range and her latest footwear collection to care about her pet cat. The socialite dropped Prada off at the vet’s to get neutered at the end of January. And never came back to take the cute little feline home!
The woman Hilton adopted Prada from, Kris Kelly, tried to contact the socialite once she was informed by the vet what happened. But Hilton didn’t return her calls. Kris fumes that it is a clearcut case of abandonment.
Paris Hilton now has a new feather in her cap. After her very own perfume range, Hilton unveiled a whole range of what every woman has a weakness for: Shoes. Not so imaginatively named, Paris Hilton Footwear Collection was promoted by the cute blond at Macy’s department store at South Coast Plaza. Word is that she has just signed a licensing agreement with the Antebi Footwear Group to launch a line under her name.
So what can we expect to spot in her collection to hit the stores early next year? No big surprise. Her favorite–high-end heels–will surely dominate the range. The collection will also boast of stilettos, platforms, wedges and flats. Sources tell us that a line of sports shoes is also on the cards, meant to complement her sportswear range to hit the market the coming Fall.

Patrons of the popular pub The Estate in Boston were treated to a torturous performance of the Paris Hilton single Stars are Blind. We don’t know if it was a good thing or a bad thing that the song was crooned by none other than the heiress herself. The stinking drunk Hilton had a hard time controlling her voice and the best part of the performance was an accidental boob show (read: wardrobe malfunction) that occurred as soon as the stumbling socialite reached the stage. It seems actress and jailbird Paris Hilton has found new unique ‘friend’. The socialite was snapped having fun and dancing with an unknown midget at a recent party of her new romantic-comedy film, ‘The Hottie and the Nottie’.
Hope Paris enjoyed learning new gyration steps from her new friend and will keep amusing her fans with them at the promotion of her film that releases on February 8 in the USA. Paris plays the role of Cristabel Abbott in the movie.
It was supposed to be a highly sarcastic comment on the naiveté of posh socialites ruling the national psyche, but Harvard Lampoon’s Woman of the Year award to Paris Hilton backfired big time in the organizers’ face as their staff not only took the heiress out clubbing after the botched ceremony, but the crowd also seemed more interested in seeing and mimicking the hot Hilton than mocking her faux award as was originally intended. Paris, for her part, played the humble awardee, to her best, even going through the painstaking effort of writing a speech for the occasion. Not that any of it ever rose above non-sensical gibberish with phrases like “an international icon meets countless people everyday, and all you people came all these blocks just to see me.” Lampoon had, earlier hoped that Paris “doesn’t… start doing the math” and figure out why her name was below other celebs like Scarlett Johansson and Catherine Zeta Jones. Recently, she was all praise for her acting coach, Ivana Chubbuck. Apparently, Paris was giving all the due credit to Ivana. Well, credit for what? For her dumb and expression-less acting capabilities? Paris’s previous films include the forgettable House of Wax and Bottoms Up. Perhaps so. She was quoted saying,

As per reports, the social butterfly has taken up a new challenge and accepted the offer to appear on the hit lesbian series The L Word. Though she will be putting up a guest appearance on the acclaimed U.S. cable TV show, there will be no surprise if she is cast as a regular member.
Still unsure about the exact details of her role, Paris appeared clearly thrilled to be a part of the hit TV show as she spoke to Parade.com. She said,

If you hate Paris Hilton then you surely belong to the underprivileged community. Obviously, what else could be more frustrating than waking up daily to witness the town painted with beautiful pictures of your most hated person? I’m sure you got my point. It definitely hurts.
